My small part

Time-warner called, yesterday, wanting me to subscribe to their cable TV service.  Now, I already subscribe to their "high speed" Internet because it is the only decent one in town, but I've been a hold out on cable TV because I don't think I should have to pay for something where most of it I don't care about or won't use.

So, first I ask if they have à la carte service.   The rep replies that they are working on that, but don't have it at this time and proceeds to try and tell me about the 300 channel, free HBO, blah blah blah.   I ask if that includes faux news.  She replies that indeed it does have faux news, proudly stating that all the packages come with faux news.   My response to this is that I won't pay for anything that includes faux news and I won't have faux news in my house, faux news since is not actually a news channel but a propaganda channel for the Republican party and to not call me unless you offer what I originally asked for.  Even then, I will probably come up with a new hoop for them to jump through.    I wonder if they have Al-Jazerra?

Please be kind, I'm not a writer and consider English my second language, geek is my first :)
